Annotation

Students are offered the opportunity to acquire a professional qualification in social fields of activity in addition to their university studies.

The practical components are integrated into the degree course.

Graduates receive state recognition as Social Educators/Social Workers on successful completion of the degree course.


"Social Management (MA)" and "Psychosocial Counselling (MA)" are offered as subsequent consecutive Master’s degree courses.

Admission requirements

– General higher education entrance qualification or entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences or recognised degree

EWork or internship contract with a cooperating institution.

Procedure:
1. Application for a work placement directly with the cooperation partner
2. Conclusion of the work placement contract with the cooperation partner
3. Application for a study place via the online portal of the University of Applied Sciences Niederrhein (with valid cooperation practice contract the allocation of the study place is secured)

Please note that only the listed cooperation partners are permitted as practice partners and no other practice partners can be accepted for the time being.

Tuition fees

No tuition fees are charged. The semester contribution is EUR 350.80. With this, the student also obtains a ticket for the local public transport system as well as for whole of North Rhine-Westphalia.
