Admission requirements

1) Qualification with training + journey times: Qualification as a ship's mechanic or qualification in a recognised metal or electro technical occupation requiring training and 12 months of journey time as a machine service specialist or training as an assistant engineer officer (18 months), study duration: 7 semesters or 2) alternatively without journey times: With on-board practical training (26 weeks) in the first subject-related semester. Duration of studies: 8 semesters, admission semester: summer semester (with proven journey times), winter semester (practical placement model)
