Admission requirements

If you have acquired your higher education entrance qualification in a country other than Germany, you must check whether your school certificate and/or certificate of academic degree is sufficient for studying in Germany. To do this, you must have your documents certified by a German embassy and then send them to the Studienkolleg Konstanz (Centre for International Students).

Studienkolleg Konstanz is the central point of contact for prospective students at Baden-Württemberg universities of applied sciences for advice and the recognition of certificates. After receipt of the documents, the procedure takes approximately 3 to 5 weeks. Get started as soon as possible! Recommended date: 1 June Applicants who cannot demonstrate the recognition of their certificates by the application deadline will be excluded from the allocation of a place on the degree course. If your documents are not certified, you must complete a preparatory year at the Studienkolleg Konstanz (application deadline 1 June).
