Admission requirements for the Master's degree programme in "Mechatronics" are an academic degree in the Bachelor's degree programme in "Mechatronics" at Ernst-Abbe University in Jena or an equivalent academic degree in the same or a subject-related field of study from another educational institution. Either the overall grade of the degree must be at least "Good" or a successful professional activity in the field over several years must be demonstrated.

Proof of a successful language proficiency test (DSH level 2 or 3, TestDaF level 4 or 5 or other equivalent language certificates) is mandatory for international applicants.
