The lectures take place at the polymer technology campus "kunststoffcampus bayern" in Weißenburg.

Competences and abilities already acquired outside the university as well as prior professional experience can be credited, so ideally the study duration is only six semesters.
The courses of study take place mainly on the Weissenburg campus. The courses take into account the special situation of working people. They are organised so that they are compatible with full-time employment. Attendance phases are limited to a reasonable minimum. The lectures take place in three to four blocks per semester. Moreover, professional activity is integrated into the course, which results in high practical relevance.

Admission requirements

Qualified persons are persons with a general higher education entrance qualification or entrance qualification for studies at universities of applied sciences or qualified professionals, that is, those who have passed the master craftsperson examination or an equivalent advanced training examination (such as industrial masters, specialist tradespeople) as well as graduates of technical colleges and academies (e.g., technicians, business administrators, administrators). In addition, proof of practical experience in a technical, trade or commercial field of at least one year is required.
