Admission
- Admission requirements (Germany)
- For the Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, admission is granted to applicants who
a)
Have a certificate of a higher education entrance qualification (general or relevant subject-restricted higher education entrance) or a certificate recognised as equivalent by legislation or the responsible state authority, or meet the requirements for applicants considered to be qualified by professional training.
b)
Have a command of English at level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference. If the basic or advanced course in the final two years at Gymnasium has been completed at least by the end of the Year 11 with at least 5 points, proof of English skills may be supplied by submitting the school qualification for admission to higher education. English skills can also be demonstrated, for example by a TOEFL (internet-based, 87 points) or Cambridge ESOL (FCE) certificate. Proof of language skills is a requirement of enrolment.
