HOW DO I SAY IT TO MY COMPUTER? New technology, new programmes or apps – enthusiasm is inevitable, at least when they are easy to operate and the new technology is really useful for its task. During your studies, you will learn how to achieve these goals, whether with speech, gestures or keys, whether on a PC, on a smartphone, in a vehicle or in virtual realities and much more. The topic of human-technology interaction is young and interdisciplinary: here, computer science, psychology and design come together todesign and develop good technical systems for users, but also to assess the impact on people and society. What will you learn? You will learn the basics of computer science and programming as well as the most important aspects in cognitive and communication psychology. You will also learn about media design, user experience design, usability engineering, web technologies, computer graphics, positive psychology and positive computing. In addition, you will gain insights into business administration, applied statistics and much more. This will help you in your studies. In addition to having fun with technology, you should be able to put yourself in the shoes of other people. You will also need: -mathematical comprehension, -the ability to work creatively on solutions, -the desire to make things easier. You will design the interaction with technical systems for a wide variety of devices and thus contribute to the design of living and working environments of the future. Our graduates work in the following fields, among others: - in app design and app programming, - in web design and in the programming of web services, in the mobility sector and at manufacturers of household appliances, - as developersof robots and assistive systems, in media houses and with e-learning providers, in UX design agencies and as usabilityconsultants, - in private and public research institutions.
