Admission requirements

The admission requirement is a Bachelor’s academic degree (BSc) in the subjects of Biology, Biochemistry or in a comparable Natural Science degree course. It is not aimed at students with an academic degree in Veterinary Medicine.

If the Bachelor’s academic degree has not yet been obtained at the time of application, interested candidates can apply if they expect to obtain the degree by the end of the first semester of the Master’s degree programme at the latest (if a maximum of 30 credit points are still outstanding).

English proficiency at B2 level is required. In addition to the permissible certificates, proof of six years of school English is also recognised.

Interested candidates who do not have a German higher education entrance qualification and have not obtained their Bachelor's degree from a German university must provide evidence of proficiency in German at A2 level.
