The degree course for the Teaching Qualification for Special Education comprises a total of 270 credit points, including an in-depth degree course of special needs education (scope: 90 credit points, 9 mandatory modules) and a qualifying degree in special education (scope: 30 credit points, 3 mandatory modules).
At the University of Regensburg, the following four special education subjects are offered: Education for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities, Special Needs Education with a Focus on Learning, Education for Individuals with Behavioural Disorders and Education for Individuals with Speech and Communication Impairments.
