Annotation
Comparative Cultural Studies takes a problem-solving approach to exploring the social and cultural everyday life of the general population in Europe from a contemporary and historical perspective. It examines, for example, how cultural exchange comes about, how cultural phenomena can be studied comparatively and in what ways culture can be conveyed (through the media).

Admission requirements
Successfully completed university degree with a standard period of study of at least six semesters and an average grade of at least 2.5, Cultural Studies components in undergraduate studies amounting to at least 30 CP and proof of course-specific aptitude by means of a successfully completed aptitude procedure (submission of the required qualification plus an application letter stating the reasons for choosing the Master’s degree programme in Comparative Cultural Studies, including academic background and individual statement on the profile of the Master’s degree programme in Comparative Cultural Studies)
