Admission requirements

- Certificate of academic degree/equivalent degree with a standard period of study of at least 6 semesters (180 CP) or comparable scope; in English Studies (British Studies) or a related subject/subject combination
- List of all achievements acquired (transcript of records)
- Grade 2.50 ("good" or better)
- Work sample in English (10-20 pages). From the field of pre-study achievements or project work, extracurricular activities, etc.; students should address an academic topic in a logical and structured way in the form of an essay or term paper
- English at level C1 of Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) or equivalent proof
- German language skills at level A1 CEFR or comparable - if first degree or higher education entrance qualification is not acquired at a German-speaking institution (can be submitted subsequently)
If there is no degree certificate yet: Achievements of at least 150 credit points with provisional overall grade
