Familiarise yourself with global trends in education and politics and learn to apply new approaches in your own classroom or educational institution
Integrated work placement abroad at one of our partner institutions. You will be optimally prepared for the required work placement – with well-integrated support and follow-up on your experiences.
A short (one-year) Master’s degree programme taught in English with hybrid teaching methods for greater flexibility, so that you can optimally integrate elements of your studies into your everyday life. However, the work placement abroad as well as some events require attendance on site: this is not a purely distance learning course.
Admission requirements
- a certificate of academic degree with an overall grade of at least 2.5 (or you belong to the top 50% of your final year) amounting to either 240 ECTS credit points or a university degree worth at least 180 ECTS credit points with supplementary professional experience or supplementary, additional ECTS credits (see admission requirements on: https://www.uni-passau.de/master-intl-education-global-learning )
- of which, knowledge of the educational or social sciences amounting to at least 30 ECTS CP
- study-related internationalisation experience in the field of education or social sciences totalling at least six weeks. Alternatively, the criterion can also be met if at least 10 ECTS credits from study achievements related to internationalisation can be demonstrated
- B2 in English
