Annotation

The Bachelor's degree in Education and Teaching is aimed at students interested in a career in teaching at primary schools OR intermediate schools and German lower secondary schools.

The Bachelor's degree course qualifies students to enter a profession. Professional qualification, particularly for activities within the professional fields of education associated with school and non-school education in the pre-school, primary and secondary I sectors, is based on the acquisition of well-founded academic skills related to Music, the respective combination subject and to Educational Sciences.

The course of study is divided into two teaching subjects, whereby Music must be chosen as one of the subjects for the later career goal of TEACHING AT PRIMARY SCHOOLS, as well as German or Mathematics (possibly admission restrictions).

The study programme with the core curriculum (KCL-BEU) also includes an inter-disciplinary professional qualification area that must be completed. The course of study involves two placements of at least nine weeks in total.

Proof of special artistic aptitude: Aptitude assessment in the form of an entrance examination (registration deadline: 15.05) in accordance with Regulations on the Proof of Special Aptitude for Artistic Studies in a Bachelor´s degree course in Education, Education and Teaching, and the Dual-Subject Bachelor's Degree at the Institut für Musikwissenschaft und Musikpädagogik
