The completion of the Bachelor's degree course in Vocational Education is aimed, for example, at students who want to teach Economics at vocational schools, as the degree qualifies them for the Master's degree course in Teaching Qualification for Vocational Schools. The degree course is conducted in combination with the following subjects: Biology, German, English, Protestant Religion, Islamic Religion, Catholic Religion, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or Sports.

The degree is also a professional qualification. The professional qualification for working in the field of Economics - for example in non-school-related educational institutions or for research, development, training, corporate or marketing activities - is based on the acquisition of scientifically sound skills in this field.
