Annotation

The Bachelor's degree programme in European Studies deals with the current political, social and economic order in Europe: its origin, current functioning and future development. Students will learn the basics of social, historical and economic sciences with a particular focus on an interdisciplinary social science approach in the combination of the subjects involved in the degree programme.

As part of the interdisciplinary social science orientation of the degree programme, students will also acquire the foundations of qualitative and quantitative social research. Dealing with different scientific and methodological approaches enables students to quickly familiarise themselves with different schools of thought and to identify alternative approaches, as well as to communicate across current scientific boundaries.
