The Department of Linguistics is one of the leading research institutions in the field of linguistics in Germany. The department has several linguistic laboratories for use in experimental research and teaching.

To apply, very good knowledge of the respective language focus is recommended. Foreign language applicants need proof of German language proficiency at the level of DSH-2 / TestDaF 4. Alternatively, you can also use other recognised language tests or approved school reports as proof.
