Annotation

The degree course qualifies you to work at special schools, inclusive mainstream schools and counselling and support centres. The focus is on special and inclusive education with an emphasis on learning and emotional and social development.; You will also gain in-depth insights into basic language and mathematical education.

An inclusive educational module and the educational and social science core studies combine education, psychology and social sciences; In addition, you will deepen your knowledge of a teaching subject of your choice.

The strong practical orientation is reflected in a five-week basic work placement (2nd/3rd semester), the practical semester with guided teaching practice (5th/6th semester) and case-related seminars.; Joint study elements with other teaching degree programmes promote early cooperation. The degree course concludes with the first state examination and opens the way to a traineeship at a teacher training institution with the second state examination – for a professional start in teaching, counselling and support in heterogeneous learning groups.
