Target group

The degree course is aimed at graduates with a first professionally qualifying certificate of academic degree in Degree programmes in the field of Educational Sciences, Theology, Social Sciences, Cultural Studies, Humanities or a dregree that is subject-related and equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in the amount of 180 credits at a university or equivalent higher education isntitution in Germany or abroad.

Admission requirements

A subject related requirement is proof of a degree course in the social sciences or humanities, theology or a first state examination for a teaching qualification with a final grade of at least 2.2. If the final grade is less than 2.2, admission may still be granted, provided that the curriculum vitae and letter of motivation indicate a particular aptitude. Proof of English language skills at level B1 according to CEFR must be provided. International applicants must provide proof of German language proficiency at the level of the DSH examination (min. level 2), the TestDaF (TDN 4x4) or a recognised equivalent.
