How will we feed the world in the future? How can food be produced in the context of climate change, loss of biodiversity and resource scarcity? The Bachelor’s degree programme in Agricultural Biology addresses these and other exciting questions about efficient, sustainable and safe agricultural production. Here, you will study at the interface of biology and agricultural sciences and look at the biological systems of plants, animals and soil in the agricultural sector. To optimise future agricultural production, you will learn what happens at the cellular and molecular level when plants and animals adapt to changing environmental conditions. If you want to help secure the food of tomorrow and develop innovative solutions, then the research-oriented degree course of Agricultural Biology is right for you.
