The degree course in Romance Studies combines a Romance main subject (Gallo-Romance Studies/French\; Hispanic Studies/Spanish) with a further Romansh minor subject (the main subject that has not been selected can be chosen or Lusitanian Studies/Portuguese) with a minor subject (to be selected): Anglophone Studies\; Spanish Studies/Spanish\; Gallo-Romance Studies/French\; Lusitanistic Studies/Portuguese\; Sociology\; Political Science\; Philosophy\; History\; Art History).

Vor der Einschreibung sind je nach gewähltem Hauptfach Sprachkenntnisse in Spanisch oder Französisch als Zugangsvoraussetzung nachzuweisen:
a) durch ein Sprachzertifikat, Niveau GER A2,
b) durch eine an einer Hochschule bestandene Spanisch- oder Französisch-Prüfung, die nachweislich das Niveau A2 des Europäischen Referenzrahmens für Sprachen bescheinigt und nicht älter ist als zwei Jahre,
c) sonstige geeignete Nachweise von Spanisch- oder Französischkenntnissen auf dem Niveau GER A2.
