If you decide to study Chemistry in Gießen, you can expect a broad study offer with strong personal support. The six-semester Bachelor's degree course provides sound knowledge in the four core areas of Chemistry (Inorganic, Analytical, Organic, Theoretical and Physical Chemistry as well as Biochemistry/Bioanalysis).
The final Bachelor thesis requires students to carry out independent work on a scientific question from one of the four areas of chemistry and to develop a structured solution, which at the same time familiarises them with typical issues and problems of practice and research.
