Admission requirements

Admission requirements for the Bachelor's degree course: general higher education entrance qualification (school leaving certificate giving right of entry to higher education). Under strictly limited conditions, admission to a degree course is also possible without a school leaving certificate giving right of entry to higher education. There are admissions restrictions for the first subject-related semester (approx. 300 places). Specific school leaving certificate subjects are not required, however, an interest in Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics is expected in addition to a particular interest in biological issues. A command of the German language is required\; a knowledge of English is important. The proportion of internships is high \; Accurate drawing, clever experimental work often in a team and correct logging are essential aspects of the course. Applicants do not need complete a work placement before admission to the degree course.
