Do you work successfully in a medical, dental or veterinary practice, in a medical care centre or at another professional medical facility and want to actively shape your career? Would you like to take on more responsibility in practice management and eventually become a director or manager yourself? Then this degree course offers you the opportunity to gain a university qualification as a specialist medical (MFA), dental (ZFA) or veterinary (TFA) assistant and to take on managerial tasks – whether in large practices, medical care centres, dialysis centres, clinics, in HR management, in practice management, in coordinating roles or as a director. This will open up new fields of work for you – and completely new career prospects, including excellent opportunities for advancement and corresponding remuneration.

Admission requirements

- Completed three-year training as a medical assistant, dental assistant or veterinary assistant or proof of a valid training contract in the training profession medical assistant, dental assistant or veterinary assistant as well as successfully completed first training year and additionally
- General or subject-specific higher education entrance qualification certificate, subject-specific higher education entrance qualification, or
- Study without a general higher education entrance qualification (Abitur) or admission restrictions through advanced continuing education (e.g. Business Administrator [Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK)]), a trial course or one year of successful study at a German university
