Admission requirements

For applicants without a professional qualification in Nursing (primary qualifiers):
- general or subject-restricted higher education entrance qualification or higher education entrance qualification at a university of applied sciences.
- A training contract with a cooperating provider of practical training
- 6-week internship in a nursing facility
- Health certificate
- Extended certificate of good conduct

For applicants with a professional qualification in Nursing (career-changers):
- general or subject-restricted higher education entrance qualification or higher education entrance qualification at a university of applied sciences.
- Proof of successfully completed vocational training (healthcare and nursing, healthcare and paediatric nursing,
geriatric care and nursing) for the recognition of professional skills (5-semester part-time studies possible)

A student union fee of EUR 72.00 is payable per semester (as of winter semester 2024/25). In addition, students can (voluntarily) purchase the reduced Deutschlandticket for EUR 38.00 per month (as of 04/2025).
