Tailor-made opportunities for the older generation – join us on our quest to ensure healthy and fulfilled ageing
In our career-integrated degree course in Gerontology, Health & Care, you will gain the expertise to provide answers to questions posed by demographic change: How can an ageing society be shaped in a modern and fair way so that everyone can participate equally? What services and conditions are needed for people aged 55 and over to lead healthy and active lives?
Create living and working spaces in which older people can stay healthy for a long time and participate in social life: whether age-appropriate workplaces, counselling or leisure activities – with your expertise in the fields of nursing, psychology, sociology, law and education, you will enrich people’s lives and institutions and ensure that older people have their place in society.
With your BA academic degree as a gerontologist, your expertise is in demand in more and more places, including advice centres, district management, municipal social planning or adult education.
