Thanks in large part to the rapid growth in international trade and e-commerce, logistics is one of the largest economic sectors in both Germany and Europe. Do you want to launch your career in this industry, because you have a real knack for organisation? Then get started with your degree programme with vocational and academic elements in Business Administration – Specialisation in Logistics Management. You will acquire in-depth knowledge of business administration and explore the fundamentals of logistics management. In addition, you will examine the current requirements of the market in the areas of digitalisation and sustainability. You will apply what you have learned directly at your practice partner.

In the degree programme with vocational and academic elements at the IU, you will study in one of the following two study models. In the degree programme with vocational and academic elements, lectures take place on two days per week on campus – occasionally also online via live video conference. Students then reinforce what they have learned using the learning materials. The "myStudium" degree programme with vocational and academic elements combines flexible self-study with digital learning formats. You will acquire the theory independently via myCampus – supported by innovative learning materials and Syntea, your personal AI learning assistant. Optionally, you can participate in weekly virtual accompanying courses as well as use other interactive live formats to deepen your knowledge.

General higher education entrance qualification, or subject-specific higher education entrance qualification

Entry is possible without a school leaving certificate giving right of entry to higher education (Abitur or Matura) or subject-specific higher education entrance qualification (Fachabitur or Fachmatura), if you meet one of the following requirements:

- completed at least two years of vocational training and at least three years of professional experience in the profession you have trained in
- successful passing of the Master Craftsperson’s examination
- successful completion of a training course to become a state-certified technician : or state-certified business economist
