Admission requirements

higher education entrance qualification
- Bachelor's or Diploma degree in Chemistry
- Final grade of at least "good" (2.5)

- in accordance with Section 3 of the Examination Regulations: By way of derogation from paragraph 1 no. 2 (minimum grade 2.5), if the final grade of the Bachelor's or Diploma degree course is not worse than "satisfactory" (2.9), the special quality of the previous education can also be demonstrated as an exception
a) by means of an excellent final thesis in the first degree, which is particularly relevant to the Master's degree course; To qualify as an excellent thesis, the thesis and the colloquium must have been rated as "very good" on average (1.5); or
b) by means of particularly qualified achievements in a professionally relevant occupation of at least two years after the first degree.
The Examination Committee shall decide after submission of appropriate documents.

No tuition fees are charged. The semester fee is EUR 326.92. With this, the student also obtains a ticket for the local public transport system as well as for whole of North Rhine-Westphalia.
