With an academic degree in International Finance, you will secure the management talent stream of multinational companies. Recognised specialists from the financial or finance sector of multinational companies prepare you thoroughly for work in the international financial community. The lecturers are recognised specialists in their field who hold or have held positions of responsibility in industry, often also guest lecturers from abroad. Particular emphasis is placed on the combination of practical knowledge, mathematical methods and the applicability of "soft skills". The financial content is rounded off by a specially coordinated law component. Case studies instead of dry theory: based on real-world requirements, the degree course focuses more on project-based and case-based learning, similar to international business schools. From the beginning, you will work on practical topics and only address the theory after you have developed your own solution. This work is often carried out in small groups during classes or in coursework during the semester, for which you will be in direct and close contact with your supervisor. Each supervisor offers special office hours during which he or she is available to provide individual advice on your assignments. Since you regularly present your work, you will learn at an early stage how to prepare your findings, present them confidently to groups and to defend them against criticism.
