The Bachelor’s degree course in Architecture provides you with solid basic knowledge for your future career as an architect. The focus of teaching is on design and structural design and engineering as well as thinking from both perspectives simultaneously in the planning process. Practical exercises are an integral part of teaching. With the Bachelor of Arts academic degree, you acquire the qualification to work in all phases of the HOAI (fee structure for architects and engineers) in architecture and planning offices thus specialised. In addition to the traditional fields of work, there are job opportunities in related areas such as real estate, building management, construction management, project management and project development, visualisation and animation. Participation in a preliminary interview is mandatory for applications.

Admission requirements: - a higher education entrance qualification valid for Hesse - Proof of aptitude for special knowledge and skills for studying architecture. The proof of aptitude consists of three parts: three work samples with an architectural reference, the completion of the architectural task set by the examination committee and an interview.
