Target group

In terms of content and methodology, the degree course focuses on adult education/continuing education as a field of research and application context. It prepares students for responsible managerial, development and advisory roles in practice and at the same time lays the foundation for an academic career. The degree course focuses on the mutual complementarity of research and development skills, which enable students to question practical realities and to initiate and oversee strategic developments in practice. Thematically, the focus is on the educational approaches to teaching and counselling, the design of courses and learning environments, continuing education management and organisational development in the various fields of adult education/continuing education.

Admission requirements

An academic degree from a BA degree programme degree in Educational Science or a related subject. The selection committee decides which degree course is considered a related subject after the application deadline.
The first degree course must be completed with the grade 2.5 or better.
