One of the following requirements must be met for admission to the bachelor's degree programme in Crisis Management in Civil Protection:
– General higher education entrance qualification
- Entrance qualification for studies at universities of applied sciences
- Passed master craftsman's examination
- Intermediate school leaving certificate (at least secondary school leaving certificate) and qualified completion of a recognised vocational training course (at least 3 years, final grade 2.5 or better)
- Completion of advanced continuing education of at least 400 hours of lessons, at a technical college or a university of cooperative education or administrative academy
- Final examination in a state-recognised occupation that requires formal training followed by at least two years of professional experience related to the degree course and passing of a separate university entrance examination

Evidence of a completed "paramedic" (RS) course or professional training as an "emergency paramedic" (NFS) can lead to a crediting of the first semester (RS) or the first and second semesters (NFS) based on a case-by-case assessment.
