Emphasis should be placed on the interdisciplinary first-semester project, which all students of Economics complete.
In the Bachelor’s degree programme in Industrial Engineering in Clausthal, great emphasis is placed on a broad foundation in engineering and economics. The focus is not on the memorization of facts, but on methodological skills and the ability to think in abstract terms. This equips graduates to tackle tasks at the interface between technology and business, regardless of a specific industry, and to thrive as generalists in both fields without having to commit to a field of study in the Bachelor’s degree programme. In addition to excellent support, the degree course is also characterised by the high priority given to tutorials accompanying lectures and the integration of important framework sciences and interdisciplinary skills.
It is possible to earn a double degree with the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein.
