Admission requirements

The admission requirement is the general or subject-specific higher education entrance qualification (allgemeine/fachgebundene Hochschulreife) or the entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences (Fachhochschulreife). Alternatively, vocational training completed with a grade 2.5 or better or a further vocational qualification through a Master Craftsperson's examination or a comparable examination.

If the applicant has no previous practical experience in the social field, a three-month pre-study work placement is also required.

Tuition fees

The Catholic University of Applied Sciences Mainz charges a semester contribution. This is made up of the registration or re-registration fee and the cost of the student ticket. You will be informed of the exact amount of the semester fee with your admission.
