The degree course is divided into a practical component and a higher education component. The practical component takes place in cooperation with hospitals (Midwifery Act (HebG), Section 13, Section 15), the academic component of theoretical and practical teaching at the university (HebG, Section 19 university; theoretical and practical courses).
A hospital practice partner is the legal requirement for the practical component of the degree course (HebG, Section 13).
The application process for the hospital practice partner is carried out in cooperation and coordination with the Medical University of Lausitz – Carl Thiem (MUL-CT).
Please refer to the list of Brandenburg University of Technology hospital practice partners for the practical component of the degree course and, currently, also the MUL-CT website.
The application must first be submitted to MUL-CT as a practice partner, stating the desired cooperation hospital.
