Electrical and Information Technology forms the basis for modern systems and applications such as smartphones, robots, wireless sensor networks, smart grids, electric cars, Industry 4.0 or the Internet of Things (IoT). The Electrical Engineering/Information Technology Plus degree course at Offenburg University of Applied Sciences provides the basics, methods and specialist knowledge needed to first understand such systems and developments and to help shape them in the future as an engineer. In addition to engineering expertise in these areas, the course in cooperation with Freiburg University of Education also teaches pedagogical content that qualifies graduates for a Teaching Qualification for Vocational Schools.
