Annotation
Develop new production processes. Control intelligent manufacturing processes. Calculate, plan and monitor production. The Production Engineering and Management degree course at Pforzheim University focuses on the most important part of the value chain in Baden-Wuerttemberg: production and manufacturing engineering. Laser technology as well as the forming and stamping technology, which represent an important economic factor for the Northern Black Forest region and are known beyond the region, form a focal point within production and manufacturing engineering. The sub-areas of automation and handling technology complement the portfolio of the bachelor's degree course. The bachelor's degree course in Mechanical/Production Engineering and Management combines classical mechanical engineering with the latest production techniques and management methods. For example, the focus is on the optimisation of manufacturing processes with regard to quality, costs and effectiveness as well as the organisation and management of production.
