The compulsory courses consist of all essential areas of business administration and economics. Teaching is interdisciplinary and based on the modular-integrative concept. We combine related subjects into networked teaching units (modules), linking methods and theory with specialist applications (integration). In this way, you can quickly recognise the sense and benefit of methods and theories and will acquire knowledge more easily and sustainably.

There are no application deadlines at EBS. However, to ensure a smooth start to your studies, we recommend that you submit your application before 30 June (for a start in the winter semester) and before 30 November (for a start in the summer semester). For international applicants who require a visa, we recommend that you submit your application before 30 May (for a start in the winter semester) or 15 October (for a start in the summer semester).

International business studies with a degree from EBS Universität

Business studies with a degree from EBS Universität – you spend five semesters at EBS Universität and one semester abroad. Optionally, the programme can be extended by a seventh semester to increase the ECTS to be earned to 210.

Dual degree option

You will spend the first part of your studies at EBS Universität and then transfer to one of our partner universities for the second part of your studies. This will give you a Bachelor of Science degree from EBS and a degree from your university abroad.

Specialisation

A distinctive feature of the Bachelor in Business Studies at EBS is that you can study according to your interests, goals and talent already in the Bachelor's programme. You decide on a specific focus in the fifth semester.

EBS is pure internationality. Whether in the curriculum, in the English-language lectures or on the intercultural campus, you can feel everywhere that internationality is part of the EBS DNA.

The fourth semester is completed abroad. Students can choose from more than 200 partner universities on five continents. The purpose of foreign exchange is to familiarise students with international research and teaching methods, enhance their language skills, and give them their first international practical experience through internships. In addition, foreign semesters contribute to each student's personal development and intercultural competence.

Students who choose the international dual degree option spend three semesters at a partner university abroad. In addition to the EBS Bachelor's degree, these students earn the corresponding degree from their partner university.

Students in this course of study have to complete eight mandatory weeks of internships during their studies – if desired, also abroad. These internships offer the opportunity to transfer the acquired knowledge into practice and to make contact with suitable companies before the end of the study programme.

• Accommodation: 450 to 700 EUR per month (Wiesbaden/Mainz), in Frankfurt often higher (650 to 750 EUR per month)

• Clothing & leisure: 50 to 100 EUR (depending on individual preferences)

Knowledge and personality test

We use the knowledge test to assess your mathematical and logical-analytical abilities as well as your problem-solving skills, which are necessary for successfully completing your studies. This part of the selection procedure takes about 30 minutes. The personality test is a self-assessment of your suitability for the business or law degree programme at EBS Universität. It helps you to assess whether the study programme you have chosen suits you and meets your expectations. This test takes about 20 minutes.
